Important Information For Turkish Guests:
To comply with Turkish law we are required to provide passport details /arrival/departure/guest names to the local authorities on arrival,this information will be taken from you by our agent on arrival

Entry requirements section (Visas) and summary - updated information to reflect announcement that from 2 March 2020, British nationals travelling to Turkey for tourist or business purposes will no longer need a visa for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay in Cyprus but you will not need any additional period of validity on your passport beyond the date you leave as long as you are an EU Citizen. If you are a Non-EU national, you must have at least three months validity from the date of return.

The Cypriot authorities have also confirmed that they will accept British passports extended by 12 months by British Embassies and Consulates under additional measures put in place in mid-2014.

All children, including newborn babies, must now have their own individual passport. Children on parent’s passport on reaching the age of 16 years must have their own passport.

If you are 16 years old or over and haven’t yet got a passport, our recommendation is that you should apply for one at least six weeks before your holiday.


Congratulations on your recent marriage! We advise all newly married couples to ensure that flights are booked in the same name that appears on your passport at time of travel.

If you are getting married or forming a civil partnership and you are travelling abroad immediately after the ceremony, Her Majesty’s Passport Office can issue a British Passport in your new name, up to three months before the ceremony. HM Passport Office will cancel your old passport, and postdate your new passport in your new name, making it valid from the date of your ceremony.

Your First Passport

Travel insurance is compulsory for all guests staying with Artemis Travel. We do not sell travel insurance so guests must make their own arrangements. Travelling without insurance could cost thousands of pounds in the event of an incident or accident, Artemis Travel will not accept any liability for guests who do not take insurance.

Accommodation is based upon the maximum number stipulated in the brochure for each type of apartment and is priced per property per night. All of Artemis Travel properties have sofa beds, therefore it is very important we have names and ages of all members in the party and that they appear on the completed booking form. We reserve the right in the event of an accommodation being over occupied without our consent, to terminate your agreement with Artemis Travel.

An inventory check on each apartment is completed and a security deposit will be required on arrival (Turkey £50, Cyprus – €200) will be required on arrival, this amount will be refunded to you at the end of your stay subject to a satisfactory inventory check. If any items are found missing then please report these to your Artemis Travel member of staff who will provide a replacement.

If any damage occurs to the property then Artemis Travel reserve the right to retain the security deposit and in the event of serious damage make further charges. Please note all our accommodation is furnished to a high standard, but may vary from unit to unit and from photographs or images shown in the brochure or on this web site.

On arrival you will be asked to provide ID to confirm the guests match our booking information, the passport/ID number will be retained to help prevent fraud. This applies to all arrivals at Artemis managed properties.

Please Note, We are unable to guarantee the position of your accommodation on any resort, and we are unable to guarantee view, requests for sea view are accepted on a non-guaranteed basis.

All of our apartments have air conditioning, but not all rooms have air conditioning. We make no extra charge for these facilities however these cannot be guaranteed.

Artemis Travel do not arrange any flights as part of our holiday services. To enable you to take advantage of our flexible accommodation types, we include accommodation, transfers and bed and breakfast.

Night Flights

Travelling on a night flight normally means an arrival at your accommodation in the early morning. Your accommodation is booked from 3pm on the day of departure from the UK. Therefore this will constitute your first night and check out of your accommodation is at 11am prior to your departure. Board arrangements facilities cease to be available upon the 11am check-out time.

At the time of booking it is advisable to consult your Doctor regarding vaccinations for travelling to Turkey and Cyprus. Most of our accommodations have safes and we advise that these should be used as a means of extra security.

Although Artemis Travel do not book flights it is important to note that airline regulations generally do not permit women over 28 weeks of pregnancy to fly without a medical fitness certificate and they must have returned by 32 weeks. Your personal safety and also of your belongings should be of great importance to you. As in the UK, should you be involved in an incident of any description to enable you to make an insurance claim, you will require a Police report.

In your apartment you will find an Artemis information folder we ask that all guests take the time to read this shortly after arrival.

When hiring a cot or high chair Artemis Travel strongly advise you to check all such items to your own satisfaction. Whilst we do our utmost to adhere strict safety standards it has to be appreciated that such items may not be constructed to the standard as the British Safety Council as they will have been purchased in Turkey and Cyprus.

Please advise us at the time of booking as to whether you require a cot or high chair for your infant. Cots and High Chairs cannot be guaranteed especially at busy periods however we will do our utmost to provide them.

If not requested at the time of booking, requests can be made at the resort and the extra cost will be payable to the resort.

Our reservations team will endeavour to assist with special requests wherever possible such as dietary requirements, pool views etc. However special requests cannot be guaranteed. Where the special request involves a charge then if pre-booked this will be paid for and represent an additional item on your invoice.

Please bear in mind you are booking SELF CATERING, we will clean and launder for you prior to arrival and again at the start of any second week, we will provide a toilet roll, all linen and towels (not beach) for you arrival, after that it's down to you to enjoy your holiday home from home
